Road Trip

On Friday morning, I packed up our clothes and put Robert in the car and headed to Kentucky to visit my mom. Robert was needing some Grammie Time. My friend Kay and her daughter Elyse road with us. The trip was good. Elyse was perfect and Robert was a little cranky. On Saturday we did some shopping and that evening my mom got a ice cream cake for Robert's early first birthday. He loved it. Since he was covered in ice cream he had a bath. He played with his new toys Grammie hgt him for his birthday. It was his first real attempt to eat ice cream on his own. Tomorrow we plan on going to church and working on our scrape books. Monday morning we'll head back to South Carolina to see Mike.
