Early 2nd Birthday Weekend

This weekend Robert and I traveled to Kentucky to visit my Dad and brother. Since my nephew, Mason, had his 1st birthday the week before we had a combined party for him and Robert. On Saturday, we spent a few hours playing outside in the pool and swinging. Later in the evening, my brother cooked some hotdogs on the grill and we had an ice cream cake for dessert. My dad joined us that evening to help celebrate. Robert got some bubbles, a bat and ball set, and a new dvd for the ride home. It was the first trip to Ky since my mom died on May 12th. It was hard but something I needed to do. My dad seems to be doing ok and it is nice to have so many local friends in the area to help.
