Happy 2nd Birthday

The weekend has finally arrived! Robert turned two. We started our weekend of fun with a cook out Friday night with the Weatherfords. Mike grilled BBQ chicken, corn, and veggies. Yum! Yum! We played a new board game called Oodles. By the way its loads of fun for any of you looking at buying a new game. On Saturday, we had an evening party at which many of our friends attended. This year we continued the park theme and had the event at Barrett's Place in Pendleton. The kids enjoyed the freedom of playing on the playground while we watched at the covered pavilion. We grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and of course had cake. We also let the kids take turns at hitting the pinata. Robert got many lovely gifts. He loves them all but the bubble blowing lawn mower and tee ball set stood out as favorites for him. His mom liked the educational books and puzzles for quiet fun inside. :) Thanks to Abby for buying the sand and toys for his sand table that will be arriving soon from his Grammy Glenn. AND also thanks to Kay for bringing potato salad, Anita for bringing extra chips, and Cheryl for the cooler of drinks.
